Liverpool Local Medical Committee is the elected body which represents all GPs on NHS England’s (Merseyside) Performers List, working in Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group’s member practices.
The Committee has representatives of GMS/PMS Contractors as well as salaried and sessional GPs.
The LMC office is located in Mossley Hill and is usually staffed from 9.00 am until 6.30 pm Monday to Friday. If you have any queries or problems relating to General Practice, please contact the LMC office.

LMC UPDATES

Election 2028
The next LMC Elections are due to take place in March 2028. At the end of 2027, information will be circulated to all Liverpool GPs on how to stand for election.

LMC Elections are due to take place in March 2024. At the end of 2023, information will be circulated to all Liverpool GPs on how to stand for election.
2022 ELECTION
Following the recent call for nominations for Liverpool LMC for the period 1 April 2022 – 31 March 2026, as the number of nominations did not exceed the number of vacancies, the following were elected, unopposed.
GPAS
Liverpool LMC, along with many other LMCs in England, have introduced General Practice Alert System which is designed to alert the local health economy on workload pressures in General Practice.
